This 15 amp, 125 volt tap plugs into a duplex 3-wire grounding wall outlet. It provides six outlets that will accept either 2-blade plugs or 3-blade plugs. it is designed to cover existing duplex outlet wall plate for temporary or permanent installation. 
For use with duplex outlet with wall plate no larger than 2-3/4" x 4-1/2"
