2" x 6"-8" Triple Zinc Slant Nail Joist Hanger

Simpson Strong-Tie LUS hangers are a light capacity joist hanger that utilize double shear nailing for added strength. This innovation distributes the load through two points on each joist nail for greater strength. It also allows the use of fewer nails, faster installation, and the use of standard nails for all connections. The Strong-Tie LUS26Z face mount joist hanger features a G185 ZMAX galvanized finish for added corrosion resistance and requires the use of hot-dip galvanized fasteners which meet the specifications of ASTM A153.

Use all specified fasteners: (4) 10d nails for header and (4) 10d nails for joist
Dimensions in description reflect nominal lumber sizes
For use with treated lumber
Joist nails must be driven in at 30-45° angle through joist or truss into header to achieve listed loads; standard length "double shear" nails must be used to achieve listed load values
16d sinkers (9 gauge x 3-1/4") may be used where 10d commons specified with no load reduction
